Her Art in Song engages in performance, research and education related projects. All of our endeavors have one purpose: to highlight the contributions of women to the art song genre.

Art song and chamber music recitals celebrating female poets and their songs; commissions featuring women writers; and performance projects dedicated to female composers and their work.

Research projects exploring the connection between female composers and the poets they set. In-depth study of archival materials to help inform performances and world premiere recordings.

Education

Masterclasses and lecture-recitals highlighting the role of women in the history of art song. Educational workshops and art song curriculum resources.
