Calling all middle school and high school SOLO singers! The Young Singers Art Song Competition 2026 is for you!
Here's how to participate:
Step 1: ​Learn a song from Bring me Her Song Again for Young Singers, a collection of songs by women composers. There are songs for all voice ranges in a variety of styles, including early musical theatre! There are also Recording Resources for all the songs on the list!​​​​

Step 2: Make a video recording of your chosen song (using the Accompaniment Only mp3 as your backing track!)

Step 3: Upload your performance as an Unlisted YouTube video link in the Young Singers Competition Submission form below.

Deadline is MARCH 31 at 5 pm!
Winners from each division will be invited to have their song
professionally recorded LIVE at the Inaugural Her Art in Song Festival at UAH on April 11, 2026.​​​​​​​​

All Participants will receive:
​
1) Written feedback from the Her Art in Song Team!
2) An opportunity for in person feedback in a one-on-one coaching or master class during the festival. ​
3) Free Tickets for singer and family to attend the Her Art in Song Festival's Constellation Event on April 11, 2026 in Roberts Hall!
